There shall be a Redevelopment Agency which shall consist of five members, who shall be appointed by the Town Manager. Any person appointed shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Manager.
Those first appointed shall be designated to serve for one, two, three, four and five years respectively; and thereafter members shall be appointed annually to serve for five years. Each member shall serve until his successor is appointed, and any vacancy shall be filled by the Board of Selectmen for the unexpired term.
The members of the Commission shall receive no compensation for their services but shall be reimbursed for their necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties.
The Redevelopment Agency shall exercise all powers set forth in Chapter 130 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
