Clearfield Borough is hereby authorized on an annual basis or
as the same may become necessary to name and appoint a licensed engineer
and/or engineering firm such that the same shall be available for
consultation and the rendering of professional services and advice
to Clearfield Borough.
A.
The fee structure and cost of any said engineering services will
be in accord with such fee and cost schedule as may from time to time
be approved by and between the engineer and/or engineering firm and
Clearfield Borough.
B.
Any such project or development as may require, in the discretion
of the Borough or any of the Borough's committees or boards, the use
of the services of the engineer and/or engineering firm shall be assessed
to the project developer or such other party as may be requesting
approval of the project or plans any fees and costs of those engineering
services which are necessary to properly review, prepare plans for
or make recommendations and inspections on behalf of Clearfield Borough.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage as
the same is necessary to assure the protection of the health, safety
and welfare of the citizens of Clearfield Borough.
