The ordinance of the Borough of Clearfield approved the 8th day of February 1898[1], entitled "An ordinance creating a Firemen's Relief Fund for the firemen of Clearfield Borough, out of the moneys paid or to be paid by the state Treasurer to the Treasurer of Clearfield Borough, under an Amendatory Act of Assembly, approved the 28th day of June 1895 and providing for the investment of said Fund and the application of the same to the relief of firemen, and for the establishment of a Firemen's Relief Committee," be and the same is hereby repealed.

Moneys and securities in and pertaining to said Firemen's Relief Fund of said Borough of Clearfield be and are hereby appropriated to the Clearfield Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association, to be administered by its Firemen's Benefit Trust, formed for the sole purpose of furnishing relief to volunteer firemen.
