Revised General Ordinances)]
N.J.S.A. 40A:14-26 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 40A:14-156 et seq. authorize
the establishment of mutual aid agreements with respect to emergency services.
The City Council has reviewed the matter and determined that it is advisable
to enter into a mutual aid agreement with the Borough of Cape May Point, the
Borough of West Cape May, the Township of Lower, Lower Township Fire District
No. 1, Lower Township Fire District No. 2 and Lower Township Fire District
No. 3.
A.
Pursuant to the statutory authority hereinabove set forth,
the City determines to enter into mutual aid agreements with the above-mentioned
municipalities and fire districts.
B.
The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute any and all mutual aid agreements and related agreements required
to effectuate the determination herein made, these agreements to be in a form
approved by the City Solicitor.
