The office of Elected Auditor shall be and hereby is abolished in the
Borough of Monaca.
The Borough Council shall appoint annually a certified public accountant
to audit the financial records of the Borough of Monaca in the manner as provided
by Section 1196 of Act 581 of February 1, 1966, together with such amendments,
if any, as may be made thereto.[1]

The compensation of the certified public accountant performing the audit
of the financial accounts of the Borough of Monaca shall be established annually
by the Borough Council of the Borough of Monaca in accordance with Subdivision
(f) of Section 1196 of Act 581 of February 1, 1966.[1]
