The fees and/or charges shall be imposed and paid in advance to the Borough of Monaca by the person or entity requesting or required to request, by law, regulation or ordinance, an inspection, or by any person or entity found to be in violation of any prevailing electrical code.
A. 
Electrical fee schedule.
(1) 
Rough wire inspection.

E. 
Zoning. A flat fee of $45 shall be imposed for zoning application. This fee will cover all reviews and inspections necessary for the completion of the permit. This will apply to all zoning applications except fence permits. The fee for review and inspection of fence permits will be $20 per application.
F. 
Code enforcement. Any person(s) or entity(s) determined to be in violation of any provision of any code or ordinance of the Borough of Monaca shall be required to pay a flat fee of $45 per violation which shall be merited as a cost to defray all inspections and efforts to obtain compliance with the code and/or ordinance.
G. 
Plan review.
(1) 
Building: all use groups. Fee based on square footage of construction.
(a) 
Up to and including 10,000 square feet: $0.05 per square foot.
(b) 
Greater than 10,000 square feet: $0.03 per square foot.
(2) 
Utility use group: $1.25 per $1,000 of estimated cost of construction to be provided by a registered design professional, estimating firm or contractor.
(3) 
One- and two-family dwelling: $150 per dwelling unit includes building, plumbing, electric, mechanical and fire protection.
(4) 
Minimum fee: $75.
(5) 
When combined with building plan review, the fire, plumbing, mechanical or electrical plan reviews will be performed for 20% of the building plan review fee.
H. 
Fire: all use groups except one- and two-family.
(1) 
Sprinklers: $40, plus $0.25 per sprinkler head.
(2) 
Standpipe: $80 each.
(3) 
Wet, dry, carbon dioxide (up to 100 pounds): $100, plus $0.75 each additional pound over 100 pounds.
(4) 
Commercial cooking system (hood, duct, suppression): $300 (per system).
(5) 
Fire alarm system: $40, plus $0.25 per device.
(6) 
Fire detection system: $40, plus $0.25 per device.
