The minimum qualifications of the person appointed Director
of the Division of Housing pursuant to this Article shall be as follows:
A. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently
to perform the duties of this position.
B. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Actual experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.
C. Five (5) years of increasingly responsible involvement in the delivery
of housing services to urban populations, two (2) years of which shall
be in a supervisory capacity.
D. Thorough and demonstrated knowledge of housing programs, property
management and structural rehabilitation methods and techniques.
E. Good health and freedom from disabling physical and mental defects
which would impair the proper performance of the required duties or
which might endanger the health and safety of oneself or others.
