The production, transportation, processing, handling, sampling,
the examination, grading, labeling and sale of all milk and milk products
sold for ultimate consumption within the Village, the inspection of
dairies and milk plants, the issuing and revocation of permits of
milk products and distributors and the placarding of restaurants and
other establishments serving milk or milk products, shall be regulated
in accordance with Illinois Compiled Statutes.
Any person violating or failing to comply with the provisions of such state statutes shall be punished as provided in Section
13-3 of this Code.
All pasteurized milk, cream and skimmed milk shall be labeled
with the name of the day beginning 49 hours after the day of pasteurization,
and all milk, cream and skimmed milk with the name of the day so designated
on the label shall not be sold after 12:00 midnight of that day in
the Village.
All certified milk, cream and skimmed milk shall be sold not
later than the day beginning 30 hours after the time drawn from the
cow as approved by the commissioner of health.
