The Street Commissioner of Clearfield Borough is hereby authorized
and empowered to provide parking spaces or stalls for taxicabs on
the streets of said Borough in the area heretofore designated as a
parking meter zone and upon which mechanical parking meters have been
placed, and to provide for the erection of suitable signs showing
the area thus reserved for such purpose.
No such parking space shall be set aside until application has
been made to the Borough Secretary for a permit and the annual license
fee of $37.50 per space has been paid. For this purpose, a space shall
be deemed sufficient space for the parking of one taxicab.
Ordinance No. 600, adopted December 4, 1950, Ordinance No. 685,
adopted December 20, 1954, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
