[Adopted 3-17-1993]
The Board of County Commissioners directs that all county employees/staff will wear name tags in all departments at all times when on duty and/or in a county building. This includes elected and appointed officials.
A.
This directive is a security measure which, in the long run, will lead to a full security system for all the county buildings and staff. There can be no exceptions.
B.
These rules have been implemented for the good and welfare of all employees. Employees' cooperation is expected and appreciated.
If anyone refuses to wear the name tag, that individual will be charged with insubordination and subject to the appropriate disciplinary action.
