The Board of Selectmen is charged with the responsibility of protecting the Town aquifer. To this end, the following policy shall govern the use of Town Water Department land located at Cider Ferry Road.
Access to the Raymond Water Department land for recreational purposes (such as horseback riding, organized sports, hikers, bicyclers, etc.) must be approved by the Raymond Parks and Recreation Department and the Raymond Water Department. Anyone entering this area without prior approval will be considered trespassing.
No person or animal shall be allowed within a four-hundred-foot radius of the Town well.
No off-highway recreational vehicles shall be allowed to trespass on any portion of this Raymond Water Department property. (See Board of Selectmen Policy adopted May 7, 1990[1].)

No person shall enter upon or remain on this Raymond Water Department property between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Dogs and other pets must be kept on a leash while in the Raymond Water Department property and shall not be left unattended. If a pet becomes objectionable, it shall be removed from the property.
