There shall be no motorized vehicle of any kind used on the new pedestrian/bike trail, except for those vehicles authorized by the City of Hayward Public Works Department and/or the City of Hayward Police Department as deemed necessary for the upkeep, maintenance or enforcement of the Code of the City of Hayward or the Laws of the State of Wisconsin.
In the event of a violation of this chapter, the forfeiture schedule shall be as follows:
A. 
First offense: $100, plus applicable court costs and costs of prosecution.
B. 
Second offense (within one year): $200, plus applicable court costs and costs of prosecution.
C. 
Third offense (within one year): $500, plus applicable court costs and costs of prosecution.

During winter months, snowmobiles shall be allowed on all portions of the City of Hayward Area Pedestrian Bike Trail that are not cleared of snow as part of the normal regular maintenance practice of the City of Hayward during the winter months.
