A. 
All trucks having a total combined gross weight of vehicle plus load in excess of four tons shall be excluded from all streets in Gloucester City except the following streets, which are hereby established as truck routes in Gloucester City:

B. 
Such trucks shall not be excluded from any street in Gloucester City if they are engaged in making deliveries of merchandise or other property along streets from which they are excluded by this section; nor shall trucks used by public utility companies in connection with the construction, installation, operation or maintenance of public utility facilities be excluded when such construction, installation, operation or maintenance requires them to use said streets.
C. 
Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of a provision of this ordinance or any amendment or supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not less than $200 but not more than $500 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.

A. 
King Street.
(1) 
It shall be unlawful for any truck having a gross weight of vehicle plus load in excess of four tons to make a right turn when exiting from the Holt River Front Cargo facility onto King Street. All such trucks shall make a left turn only.
(2) 
The penalty for violation of this provision shall be the same as set forth in § 87-18C.
(3) 
The Director of Public Works shall post appropriate signs as directed by the Police Chief of the City of Gloucester City.
The streets designated as truck routes in § 87-18 of this ordinance shall be conspicuously marked by signs so placed and maintained as to clearly show said truck routes by both day and night, and such signs shall designate the weight of the trucks which are required to use such truck routes.
