It shall be unlawful for any person to coast
or ride upon any sled or similar conveyance upon any sidewalk in the
Borough of Monaca or upon any street or alley in said Borough, unless
such street or alley shall have been especially set apart and designated
by the Mayor as a "play highway," for the purpose of sledding. Any
person who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon
conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $10
and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment thereof, to imprisonment
for not more than five days, provided that nothing herein shall prohibit
any adult from pulling or drawing a child upon a sled upon any sidewalk
or while crossing from one side of a street or alley to another side
thereof.
