The employment policies and practices of the

each new employee at the time of employment and are available upon
request. The plans, policies and procedures described are not conditions
of employment. York County government reserves the right to modify,
revoke, suspend, terminate or change any or all such plans, policies
and procedures, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice.
The language which appears in the booklet is not intended to create
nor is it to be construed to constitute a contract between the York
County government and any one or all of its employees. Any collective
bargaining agreement between the County and its recognized bargaining
units shall supersede the handbook for the employees covered by the
agreement.
