The Health Officer shall inspect every restaurant and food establishment
at least twice each year. In case the Health Officer discovers the
violation of any item of sanitation, he shall make a second inspection
after the lapse of such time as he deems necessary for the defect
to be remedied, and the second inspection shall be used in determining
compliance with the requirements of this chapter. Any violation of
the same item of this chapter on such second inspection shall call
for the immediate suspension of the business license.

All premises used in the sale or storage of food or drink intended
for human consumption shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
It shall be unlawful to permit any person who is afflicted with a
contagious disease to handle any food or drink intended for human
consumption. Said premises shall be kept free from flies and vermin.

It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale any unwholesome
or polluted food or drink of any nature or kind within the corporate
limits of the Village.

It shall be unlawful to maintain any common drinking cup or
cups, dipper or other similar utensil, for the use of more than one
person in any public hall, store, restaurant or any other place frequented
by the general public.

Utensils in all places serving food or drink to the public shall
be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized after each such usage.
The Illinois Administrative Sanitation and Food Code, Title
77, Chapter 1, Parts 750 and 760 are hereby adopted and incorporated
into this chapter by reference as the Food Code of the Village.

If any person is found guilty of the violation of any one or
more of the above-described unlawful acts, that person shall be fined
not less than $25 and not more than $500 for each and every violation.
