A. 
Where sidewalks are provided, it shall be unlawful for any pedestrian to walk along and upon an adjacent roadway.
B. 
Where sidewalks are not provided, any pedestrian walking along and upon a street or highway shall, when practicable, walk only on the left side of the roadway or its shoulder facing traffic which may approach from the opposite direction.

No person shall stand in a roadway for the purpose of soliciting a ride from the driver of any private vehicle.

A. 
Traffic-Control Signals. Pedestrians shall be subject to traffic-control signals at intersections as provided by law but at all other places pedestrians shall be accorded the privileges and shall be subject to the restrictions as stated in this Title.
B. 
Pedestrian-Control Signals. Whenever special pedestrian-control signals exhibiting the words "Walk," "Don't Walk" or "Wait" are in place, such signals shall indicate as follows:
1. 
Walk.
a. 
Pedestrians facing such signal indication when illuminated may proceed across the roadway within any marked or unmarked crosswalk in the direction of the signal indication and shall be given the right-of-way by the operator of any vehicle.
b. 
When the "Walk" signal indication is extinguished, no pedestrian facing such signal indication shall enter the roadway.
2. 
Wait, Don't Walk or Flashing Don't Walk. No pedestrian shall start to cross the roadway in the direction of such signal indication, but any pedestrian who has partially completed his crossing on the "Walk" signal indication shall proceed to a sidewalk or safety zone while the "Wait" or "Don't Walk" signal indication is illuminated.

It shall be unlawful for any person, unless wholly or partially blind, to carry or use on the public streets of the Village any cane or walking stick which is white in color, or white with a red end on the bottom.

It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully and unnecessarily hinder, obstruct or delay or to wilfully and unnecessarily attempt to delay, hinder or obstruct any other person who is lawfully driving or traveling along or upon any sidewalk or roadway.

At no place shall a pedestrian cross any roadway other than by the most direct route to the opposite curbing and when crossing at any place other than a crosswalk he shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles upon the roadway.
