[The Erie Sewer Authority was created under the provisions of
Act of 5-2-1945 (P.L. 382), as amended, and by Ordinance 98-1952,
passed 12-19-1952. The Authority owns the municipal sewer systems
and sewage treatment works in the City of Erie, which are operated
by the City under lease from the Authority. Ord. 57-1954, passed 6-1-1954.
Ordinance 66-1971, passed 10-20-1971, extends the Sewer Authority
term to 50 years.]
