The rock piles, revetment and water banks along the City of Perth Amboy's waterfront and any area other than designated fishing piers surrounding the Ferry Slip and Marina shall be designated as areas where fishing, crabbing and related activities are prohibited and punishable by a fine or one hundred dollars ($100) per offense.

Fishing, crabbing and related activities will be permitted only on beaches not identified as bathing beaches, located from South Second Street to High Street along Sadoski Parkway from sunrise to 9:00 a.m. and then from 6:00 p.m. to sunset between May 1st to September 30th. From October 1st to April 30th fishing, crabbing and related activities will be permitted from sunrise to sunset.

Fishing, crabbing and related activities will be permitted continuously without limitation on all piers designed for these activities on a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day a week basis unless otherwise posted.
The Police Department of the City of Perth Amboy is hereby directed to enforce this chapter and have proper signage calling attention to the provisions of this chapter erected or placed along the designated areas.
