The following are the charges or fees to be paid to the City upon submitting an application for connection to the water system:
A. 
No connection fees shall be charged for the replacement of an existing water service line unless when the connection to the City's water main is being replaced with a connection of a larger size and/or the water service line is being replaced with a larger size water service line.
B. 
Connection fees for upgrading the existing connection or water service line shall be charged as follows:
(1) 
Residential — $200 for the first residential service unit or part thereof, and $35 for each additional equivalent residential service unit or part thereof.
(2) 
Commercial — $250 for the first equivalent residential service unit or part thereof, and $35 for each additional equivalent residential service unit or part thereof.
(3) 
Private schools, churches, hospitals, and other public and semi-public buildings not owned by the City: $250 for the first equivalent residential service unit or part thereof, and $35 for each additional equivalent residential service unit or part thereof.
(4) 
Hotels/Motels — $250 for the first equivalent residential service unit or part thereof, and $35 for each additional equivalent residential service unit or part thereof.
(5) 
Industrial — $200 for the first equivalent residential service unit or part thereof, and $35 for each additional equivalent residential service unit or part thereof.
C. 
Connection fees for new services and connections shall be charged as follows:

D. 
Fire service lines. The connection fees for all fire service lines shall be $500 per inch — diameter.
E. 
All other uses. In the event a proposed facility or establishment is not included in the above schedule, the applicant shall propose the projected flow based upon operation of similar facilities or best professional judgment. The City reserves the right to accept, modify, or deny the proposed flow projection.
