A Health Officer shall be appointed annually as of May 1 of
each year by the President and with the consent of the Board of Trustees.
The Health Officer shall be experienced in the administration of public
health matters. He need not be a resident of the Village.

If any salary or fee is to be paid to the Health Officer or
any of his agents, such salary or fee is to be determined by the Village
President and Board of Trustees.

The Health Officer is responsible to the President and the Board
of Trustees for the efficient administration and enforcement of health
and sanitation regulations in the Village, as well as the health and
sanitation ordinances of the County and Sanitation Code of the State
of Illinois.
