§ 2-2C-1 Creation of division.

There is hereby created a Division of Streets and Alleys under the direction and control of the Public Works Department and Superintendent consisting of such number of employees as may from time to time be determined by the President and Trustees.

§ 2-2C-2 Functions, powers and duties.

A. Functions. The functions of the Streets and Alleys Division shall be:

1. The maintenance of all public streets and alleys in the Village.

2. The maintenance of parkways, trees and shrubbery in the Village.

3. The maintenance of all motor vehicle equipment owned by the Village other than the Police Department and Fire Department motor vehicles.

4. The maintenance and repair of all Village owned buildings and properties.

B. Report. Within 60 days after the beginning of the fiscal year, the Division shall make a written report to the President and Board of Trustees of the activities for the preceding fiscal year, together with such recommendations as may be appropriate.
