§ 2-3B-1 Appointment.

There shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, a Building Inspector. He shall be an officer of the Village. He shall be under the jurisdiction of the President and Board of Trustees.

§ 2-3B-2 Compensation.

The compensation of the Building Inspector shall be set annually by the corporate authorities in the annual appropriation ordinance.

§ 2-3B-3 Powers and duties.

It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to inspect all buildings or structures being erected, repaired or altered as frequently as may be necessary to ensure compliance with the Village Code.
