Chapter VIII of the Sanitary Code, State Department of Health, is hereby made a part of this chapter as though fully incorporated herein.[1]

BOARDINGHOUSE FOR CHILDREN AND INFANTS
Shall mean any house or other place conducted by any person, persons or combination of persons who advertise themselves or hold themselves out as conducting a boarding home for children or who have in their custody or control one (1) or more children unattended by parent or guardian for the purpose of providing for such children, with food or clothing, excepting children related to them by blood or marriage or by them legally adopted.
It shall be unlawful for any person, persons or combination of persons to conduct a boarding home for children and infants in the limits of the City of Perth Amboy unless they have first received a license to conduct such home from the Division of Health of Perth Amboy.
The Division of Health shall have the right to make any rule or regulation which it shall from time to time find necessary for the better control of such homes, and any violation of such rules or regulations shall be considered a violation of this section of this chapter.
