Township of Nutley, NJ Chapter 458 Municipal Military Banner Program

§ 458-1 Intent; application; return to owners.

A. The Township of Nutley takes great pride in the men and women who have served our country in its times of need. The Military Banner Program is intended to assist the Township in honoring friends and family of current or former residents of the Township who have served our great country and to salute our brave men and women who are currently serving, or who have served, in the military, by creating and displaying military banners to be exhibited on appropriate poles within the Township between May 1 and July 4.

B. Applications shall be on file with the Department of Public Affairs and must be received by April 1 to be eligible for that calendar year.

C. Banners shall be returned to the owners once they are taken down following July 4.
