Any person who willfully or knowingly gives or aids or abets in giving any false alarm of fire by any means shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or be fined not more than $500, or both, for each offense.

A person who willfully or knowingly tampers with, interferes with or impairs any public fire alarm apparatus, wire or associated equipment shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by imprisonment for a term of not more than 90 days or be fined not more than $500, or both.
