It shall be unlawful for any person to resist or in any manner interfere with, or to incite any other person or persons to resist or in any manner interfere with, the Police Chief, any members of the police force[1] or other Township officer in the discharge of his or her duties as such.

Any person violating the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment for a period of not more than 90 days, or both.
