The Lawnside Public Works Department shall, subject to availability, rent one of its dump trucks for use by Lawnside residents to remove certain yard waste from that resident's property. The yard waste removed from said property and placed in the dump truck shall only consist of branches and brush. No stumps, tree branches, or trunks greater than 18 inches in diameter and five feet in length shall be permitted in the dump truck. No leaves or grass shall be permitted in the dump truck. No household trash shall be permitted in the dump truck.
A resident of the Borough of Lawnside may request use of a Lawnside Public Works dump truck by obtaining and completing from Public Works a vehicle use agreement and waiver form,[1] and submitting same to the Borough Clerk along with $100 cash, or certified check, or money order made out to the "Borough of Lawnside."

The Lawnside Public Works Department shall limit its dump truck rental to a maximum of 72 hours per resident. The vehicle shall be delivered to the resident's property, locked, and keys removed and retained by Public Works. No resident user, or his employees, agents, or assigns shall operate the truck while it is in the resident's possession. At the end of the rental period, Public Works shall return to the property, remove the vehicle, and dispose of its contents.
A resident who has rented a dump truck shall be fined $75 per day for each 24 hours the truck is kept beyond the seventy-two hour limit. The Police Department shall issue said $75 citation.
