The position of Zoning Officer of the Borough of Pine Beach
is hereby created. The Zoning Officer shall be an employee of the
Borough of Pine Beach. The Zoning Officer shall be a certified zoning
official or become certified within one year of employment, and shall
serve as the Administrative Officer pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-56.
It shall be the duty of the Zoning Officer to enforce all ordinance
provisions relating to zoning to ensure compliance with the borough
ordinances. In addition, the Zoning Officer shall function in conjunction
with the County of Ocean agent, as applicable, to enforce the provisions
of the Uniform Construction Code Act. (See N.J.S.A. 52:27D-119 et
seq.)
The annual salary for the position of Zoning Officer shall be determined from time to time by the Mayor and Council. (See Ch. 34, Salaries and Compensation.)
