As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT
Includes the following:
A. 
TRAVEL TRAILERA vehicular, portable structure built on a chassis, designed to be towed by another vehicle and to be used as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreational or vacation purposes.
B. 
PICKUP CAMPERA structure designed primarily to be mounted on a pickup or truck chassis and with sufficient equipment to render it suitable for use as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreational or vacation use.
C. 
MOTORIZED HOMEA portable dwelling designed and constructed as an integral part of a self-propelled vehicle.
D. 
FOLDING TENT TRAILERA canvas folding structure, mounted on wheels and designed for travel or vacation use.
E. 
BOATIncludes boats, floats and rafts and the usual equipment, including boat trailers, used to transport the same, and limited to 24 feet in length.
A. 
No person or individual, corporate or otherwise, shall place or store recreational equipment upon residential property or permit the same to be done, except as herein otherwise provided and as herein defined.
B. 
All travel trailers, boats or motorized homes may be placed or stored upon residential property, subject to the following conditions:
(1) 
Such recreational equipment shall not have fixed connections to water, gas or sanitary sewer facilities and shall at no time be used for living or housekeeping purposes or storage of household and sundry articles.
(2) 
Such recreational equipment shall be kept in good repair, locked and carry current vehicle registration plates, if required, issued by the State of New Jersey.
(3) 
If the camping and recreational equipment is parked or stored outside of a garage, it shall be parked or stored to the rear of the front building line of the lot.
The setback requirement in the side or rear yard shall be a minimum of eight feet. There shall be a limit of one travel trailer or motorized home, 27 feet in length, and one boat.
(4) 
Such storage or placement shall be allowed only as a use accessory to an existing or hereafter constructed single-family dwelling on the lot or lots upon which said dwelling is located and shall not be permitted on an otherwise vacant or unimproved lot. If stored in the driveway of a home, it must be 10 feet or more from the street line nearest the house and three feet from the house and limited to residing property owners of Pine Beach, New Jersey.

A. 
The parking or storage of any trailers, boats or motorized homes upon any street or public property within the jurisdictional limits of the Borough of Pine Beach is prohibited, except that the storage of boats on beaches will be permitted excluding the following designated areas:
(1) 
Windy Cove west of the parking lot.
(2) 
Avon Avenue dock east to the New Jersey Avenue dock.
(3) 
Midland Avenue east to the bulkhead.
(4) 
Station Avenue 200 feet west of the roped swimming area.
(5) 
Public right-of-way portions of the west terminus of Lincoln, Radnor and Huntington Avenue.
B. 
Storage will be allowed from April 1 through November 30.
C. 
The owners of all boats to be stored shall register their name, address, type of boat and location of storage with the Municipal Clerk yearly.

D. 
No steps, ladders or boarding appliances are permitted in any area, in accordance with insurance regulations and applicable borough ordinances.
E. 
Boats not registered with the borough are subject to removal at any time and registered boats remaining on the beach after November 30 are subject to removal by the municipality. The Borough of Pine Beach is not responsible for any damage to boats or equipment incurred during removal from the beach. Owners of boats removed from the beach shall be assessed a storage fee of $25 per month. Storage fees shall be assessed the first day of every following month. The boat shall not be released from storage until all storage fees are paid.

The officials charged with the enforcement of the provisions hereof shall be the Building Inspector or the Chief of Police or their designated representatives.

Any person, individual or corporate, who shall violate any provision hereof shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to one or more of the following: a fine of not less than $25 or more than $1,000, imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days or community service for a period not to exceed 90 days for each such violation.
