Chimneys, ventilators, skylights, water tanks, television and
radio antennas and similar features and air-conditioning and other
mechanical appurtenances generally carried on and above the roof level
may exceed the height limitations of this chapter by not more than
10 feet. The provisions of this chapter shall not preclude the erection
of a parapet wall or cornice for ornament, extending above the height
limits of this chapter by not more than five feet.
Original Section 501, relating to undersized lots, and Section 502, relating to topography exceptions for private garages, were deleted at time of adoption of Code; see Ch.
1, General Provisions, Art.
