The Mayor shall be Ex Officio Harbor Master until otherwise provided. He shall have a general supervision and control over the wharf and landing on Wharf Street. (R.O. of 1943, Ch. 8 §1)

All merchandise, produce, lumber or manufactures, railroad ties, or cord-wood shall be removed within forty-eight (48) hours after it shall have been landed, unless landed for the purpose of re-shipping in which case it shall be removed within six (6) days.

Whenever the owner, consignor or person in charge of such merchandise, produce, lumber or manufactures, railroad ties, cord-wood, or any other kind of freight shall neglect or refuse to remove the same within the time specified in Section 235.020, he or they on conviction shall be fined not less than one dollar ($1.00) nor more than ten dollars ($10.00) for each day so offending.
