There is created the position of chief financial officer for
the Borough.

The chief financial officer shall be appointed by the mayor
with the advice and consent of council, in accordance with N.J.S.A.
40A:9-140.10, for a term of four years, which shall run from January
1st in the year in which the chief financial officer is appointed.

The chief financial officer shall have the powers and perform
all the duties of a chief financial officer as designated by the legislature
through New Jersey statutes and in accordance with the regulations,
forms and procedures according to the Administrative Procedure Act.
