A. 
Interference with Official Duties. No person shall interfere with or hinder any member of any fire company or first aid squad of the Borough while engaged in the performance of his or her duties or disobey any order of any firefighter while on active duty at any fire.
B. 
Apparatus. No person shall:
1. 
Destroy, injure, damage or impede the operation of any property or equipment of any fire company or apparatus or part of any fire alarm system of the Borough;
2. 
Intentionally cause or assist in causing a false fire alarm to be given in any manner;
3. 
Ride over or otherwise damage any fire hose;
4. 
Open any fire hydrant without written permission of the water superintendent of the Borough unless such person is a qualified firefighter;
5. 
Wilfully, wantonly, carelessly, recklessly or negligently run into, collide with or in any way damage any fire hydrant within the Borough.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:27D-202, the Borough does provide for local enforcement of the Uniform Fire Safety Act and does designate the Ocean County bureau of fire safety, under the supervision of the Ocean County fire marshal, as the local enforcement agency.

The Ocean County bureau of fire safety shall, under the supervision of the Ocean County fire marshal, enforce the Uniform Fire Safety Act and the codes and regulations adopted under it by the department of community affairs and the ordinances of the Borough concerning fire safety in all buildings, structures and premises within the Borough, other than owner-occupied one- and two-family dwellings. The Ocean County bureau of fire safety, under the supervision of the Ocean County fire marshal, shall comply with the requirements of the Uniform Fire Safety Act and the Uniform Fire Code and shall enforce such compliance with the owners and occupants of all buildings, structures and premises within the Borough, other than owner-occupied one- and two-family dwellings.

The Ocean County bureau of fire safety, under the supervision of the Ocean County fire marshal, shall carry out the periodic inspection of life hazard uses required by the Uniform Fire Code.

The Ocean County bureau of fire safety shall be in the office of the Ocean County fire marshal and shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Ocean County fire marshal who shall serve as the fire official. The Ocean County bureau of fire safety shall consist of the fire marshal and such other inspectors and employees as may be necessary to enforce the code, regulations and ordinances, being appointed by the Ocean County board of chosen freeholders, pursuant to the procedures set forth by the board of chosen freeholders of Ocean County.

A. 
Fire Marshal. The Ocean County bureau of fire safety shall be under the supervision of the Ocean County fire marshal who shall be appointed by the Ocean County board of chosen freeholders; and
B. 
Inspectors and Employees. Such inspectors and other employees as may be necessary for the Ocean County bureau of fire safety to properly carry out its responsibilities shall be appointed by the Ocean County board of chosen freeholders.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:27D-206 and N.J.S.A. 52:27D-208, Sections 15 and 17 of the Uniform Fire Safety Act, any person aggrieved by a ruling, action, notice or order of the Ocean County bureau of fire safety shall have the right of appeal to the construction board of appeals of the county of Ocean.

Permit fees shall be charged by the municipality as set forth in N.J.A.C. 5:18-2.8(c).
