81, Art. IV, of the 1967 Code)]
From and after the passage and publication of this article,
it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to remove, deface or
in any way injure or destroy any garbage or refuse can or cans stationed
along the several streets and highways, sidewalks or alleys in the
Borough of Shamokin (now City); also to remove, injure, deface or
destroy any trespass notice placed in the several park plots in said
Borough (now City).

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate or fail to
comply with any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction
thereof before any Magisterial District Judge, be sentenced to pay
a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $300, and costs of
prosecution, and/or suffer imprisonment for up to 180 days, or both.
The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute
a new and separate offense, and the person or persons allowing the
continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for
each separate offense.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
