In the judgment and discretion of the Mayor and council of the
City of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, there is hereby established a public
nuisance abatement board pursuant to 11 Oklahoma Statutes Sections
22-111, 22-112, and 22-112.1.

Said board shall consist of five members and shall have such
powers and duties as are provided by 11 Oklahoma Statutes Sections
22-111, 22-112, and 22-112.1 as may be from time to time amended.

Each council member of the City council of Tahlequah shall appoint
one member to the board, which board member shall reside within the
ward of the appointing council member. The Mayor of said City shall
appoint one member to said board, which board member shall reside
within the corporate limits of the City of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The
members thereof shall select the chairman of said board.

The members of the nuisance abatement board shall be appointed
and hold office for a term of five years, and until their successors
have been appointed and qualified. The terms shall be staggered in
such a manner that not more than one member completes service in any
year.

Any member may be removed from office without cause upon majority
vote of the City council. Any member, without good cause, absent from
three consecutive meetings may be removed from office by the City
council without further procedure.
