Assault and Battery Prohibited.
[Prior Code, Chapter 14]
A.
It is unlawful to commit an assault or an assault and battery within the City.
B.
For the purposes of this Section, an "assault" is any wilful and unlawful attempt or offer with force or violence to do a corporal hurt to another. A battery is any wilful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another.
