All live poultry brought into the City shall be inspected as required in this Article.

All inspections under this Article shall be done by an authorized representative of the Division of Health at a place designated by the Health Officer, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays such inspection shall be between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Such inspections shall take place every day except Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays; provided, however, that the Health Officer may provide for inspection on any day on which he/she deems there is need for inspection. Inspections shall be carried out during the inspection period immediately following the arrival of the poultry in the City. The requirements of this section and of Section 13:5-14 shall include live poultry, whether arriving in private vehicles or by express or by public carrier.

A certificate of inspection and approval shall be obtained from the authorized representative of the Division of Health.
