No person shall swim or bathe in the water of any pond, lake, river,
swimming pool or any other place in the City which has been declared
by the Health Officer to be polluted or to be hazardous to health.
Upon notice from the Health Officer, it shall be the duty of every
owner or lessee of property adjoining such water, or on whose property
such water is located, to prohibit swimming or bathing therein, and
to post signs warning the public that bathing is prohibited in such
water.
No parent or guardian shall permit any child under his/her care to
enter any water, polluted or prohibited as declared by paragraphs
a and b of this section.
No person who is not a resident of the City shall enter upon and
use a municipally operated public swimming pool without the express
permission or license to do so by the City.
No parent, guardian or adult person having the care or custody, or
then being in charge of a minor under the age of 18 shall knowingly
aid, permit or direct any such child to enter upon the premises of
any municipal public swimming pool of the City in violation of the
rules and regulations governing the use thereof.
Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon
conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $200 or by
imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
