Any person who shall make false statements in any application for a license or in any record that he/she be required to maintain under this chapter shall be subject to penalties as provided in Section 34:1-54 and Section 34:1-56.

a. 
Any person who violates or permits, aids or abets the violation of any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $200 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
b. 
The penalty provided in paragraph a of this section shall be in addition to and not in lieu of penalties imposed under Section 34:1-54.
