There shall be within the Department of Health and Community
Wellness a Division of Environmental Health, the head of which shall
be the Manager, Division of Environmental Health.

The Division of Environmental Health, under the supervision
of the Director of the Department of Health and Community Wellness,
shall be responsible for the following duties:
a. Administer and enforce the statutes and local ordinances ensuring
and fostering environmental health and related inspections within
the City of Newark.
b. Provide environmental health advisory services to the citizens, businesses,
and industries within the City of Newark.
