For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall
apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different
meaning.
COIN-OPERATED AMUSEMENT DEVICE
Any amusement machine or device operated by means of the
insertion of a coin, token or similar object, for the purpose of amusement
or skill and for the playing of which a fee is charged. The term does
not include vending machines which do not incorporate gaming or amusement
features, nor does it include any coin-operated mechanical musical
device.
PROPRIETOR
Any person who or which, as the owner, lessee or proprietor,
has under his, her or its control, any establishment, place of business
or premises in or at which a coin-operated amusement device is placed
or kept for use or play or is on exhibition for the purpose of use
or play.

No person shall be a proprietor of coin-operated amusement devices
without first obtaining a license for each such device.

Application for the license required by § 818.02 shall
be made to the Borough Secretary on forms and containing information
as required by Council. The application shall be accompanied by a
nonrefundable fee as set forth in § 208.03(A) of the Administration
Code.

No proprietor shall operate, or permit to be used or played,
more than two coin-operated amusement devices at his, her or its premises
at any time.
