The boundary limits of the Borough are hereby established as
a zone in which motor vehicles may remain standing without lights,
and all streets and alleys within such boundary limits are hereby
designated as streets where motor vehicles may remain standing without
lights.

Wherever a space is marked off on any street, alley or municipal
property for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there
parked shall be parked within the lines bounding each space.

Parking shall be prohibited at all times in the following places:
(A) Within 25 feet of the intersection of curb lines or, if none, then
within 15 feet of the intersection of property lines at the intersection
of the streets;
(B) On the east side of Houston Street from Wellington Avenue to Maple
Avenue;
(C) On the east side of Edgmont Avenue from Brookhaven Road to Maple
Avenue;
(D) On the south side of West Brookhaven Road from Edgmont Avenue to
Burke Avenue;
(E) On the north side of Greenwood Street from Coebourn Boulevard to
Dutton's Mill Road;
(F) On the south side of Grandview Avenue from Edgmont Avenue to Seiger
Street; and

On the south side of Coebourn Boulevard from Edgmont Avenue
west for a distance of 300 feet from Edgmont Avenue; and
(2)
For a distance from a point 300 feet west of Edgmont Avenue
to a point 410 feet west of Edgmont Avenue, parking on the south side
of Coebourn Boulevard is limited to 15 minutes.

No operator of a vehicle shall stop or park such vehicle or
permit it to stand or remain upon the main traveled portion of a street
or highway without assuring that such action does not block nor obstruct
the normal flow of traffic or create a safety hazard to other vehicles
or pedestrians.

No operator of a vehicle shall stop or park such vehicle, other
than a bus, on the south side of Ridge Boulevard from Edgmont Avenue
to 100 feet east of the curb line of Edgmont Avenue.

The provisions of this chapter do not apply to the operator
of any police, fire or rescue vehicle, whether occupied or not, while
engaged in the promotion of the public health, safety or welfare.

Parking is prohibited on all streets where off-street parking
is available immediately at the beginning of any snowfall. Such prohibition
shall continue until all the snow is removed from such streets.

No person owning, leasing or operating any commercial motor
vehicle or bus having a length of greater than 30 feet shall park
or let stand such commercial motor vehicle or bus in a residential
district for a period of time greater than one hour.

No person owning, leasing or operating any tractor-trailer,
trailer or commercial motor vehicle having a length of greater than
30 feet shall park or let stand such tractor-trailer, trailer or commercial
motor vehicle in any nonresidential district for a period of time
greater than 24 hours.

(A) No vehicle with a gross weight of more than 10,001 g.v.r.w. shall
be permitted to park on Borough streets or on state roads within the
Borough.
(B) No trailer shall be parked on Borough streets or on state roads within
the Borough.
(C) All such vehicles and trailers must be parked either on the driveway
of the property of the owner or at some other location on the property
of the owner, as permitted by the Borough. It is the legislative intent
of Council to provide that such vehicles and trailers shall not merely
be placed anywhere on an owner's property, but, rather, must
be parked on the driveway of the property or at another location as
approved by the Borough.
(D) Any person seeking permission to have such a vehicle or trailer parked
on his or her property shall first seek permission from the Building
Inspector concerning a location on the property if the intended location
is other than a paved driveway on the property.
(E) No motorized recreational vehicles over 18 feet long shall be permitted
to park on Borough streets or within the Borough on state roads.

(A) No person shall park or let stand a vehicle in any area of the Borough
which has been designated, by a resolution of Council, as a no-parking
area.
(B) The Borough shall erect signs in accordance with the regulations
of the Department of Transportation at the beginning and end of such
areas so designated.

(A) Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of
this chapter, for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be
fined not more than $15.
(B) Whoever violates § 490.09 shall be fined not more than
$300.
(C) Any official issuing a citation under this chapter is authorized
to order the offending vehicle to be towed if that official deems
the removal of the vehicle from its location to be necessary or appropriate
to protect the health, safety and welfare of the Borough and its residents.
