(a) From September 30 through March 31, all public parks of the City,
whether within or without its corporate limits, shall be closed each
night at 6:00 p.m. and shall remain closed until 7:00 a.m. of the
following day. From April 1 through September 29, all public parks
of the City, whether within or without its corporate limits, shall
be closed each night at 11:00 p.m. and shall remain closed until 7:00
a.m. of the following day.
(b) No person shall enter any of the public parks, or loiter or remain
therein, without special permit from the person designated by the
City as keeper of such park, during the hours when the same are closed.

No person shall disturb, injure, destroy, carry away or otherwise
interfere with any plants, trees, birds, wild animals or property
of the City that is in, or may come into, any of the City parks or
that is on, or may come upon, any land owned by the City or held in
trust for and used and enjoyed by the City as a public park.

No person shall swim, wade, or dive in any areas of Big Run
Creek from the footbridge in the center of the park northeast to the
inflow of Big Run Creek into the park under State Route 65. The Department
of Parks and Recreation shall erect appropriate signage in the restricted
areas.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall be punished as provided in Section
101.99 of the Administrative Code.
